Fudge, the cause of, and answer to, all our problems. Ok so fudge is an all time American classic, and rightly so, because it’s so addictive it’s surprising there’s no rehabilitation clinics for it just yet.
What even is it? Beyond a delicious addictive treat, it’s actually just a mixture of sugar, butter and milk. It’s enough to make you question the meaning of life if something that tastes so good is so simple to make.
Gourmet Fudge may well be the best of the best when it comes to producers, too. Seriously, give this a try, it’s perfect just on its own or can be used as part of other recipes too. It even makes a pretty sweet gift, if you need one.
In our “Recipe” tab, there’s a great idea for a recipe to make the most of your butter fudge.

Peanut Butter Fudge Brownies
- 175g of unsalted butter
- 300g of caster sugar
- 75g of cocoa powder
- 175g of broken up dark chocolate
- 2 tbsp of vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 50g of plain flour
- 25g of chopped peanuts
- 200g of smooth peanut butter
- 1 bag of Gourmet Fudge Butter
Start off by putting the butter, the caster sugar, cocoa and 50g of the dark chocolate into a saucepan over a low heat. Melt them together and stir well until all the butter and chocolate has melted. Next, let’s pour that into a bowl and stir in the vanilla extract. Next, pop the eggs in one at a time and the flour, all the time mixing and folding the mixture together.
Next you need to pour that into a baking tin and bake it for 25-30 minutes at 200c or until you can stick a skewer in it and pull it out with sticky crumbs on it. Allow the tin to cool completely before moving on.
Next I want you to put that fudge into a heat proof bowl, and pop it over a pan of boiling water until it melts down into a stirring mixture. Pour that all over the top of the brownies before spreading the peanut butter over and the chopped peanuts to your own taste.
